Domino the cow lived a happy life at Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary in Erie, Colorado. He was rescued from a farm in Massachusetts where authorities found over 1,000 animals suffering severe abuse and neglect. Animals were tangled in barbed wire trying to escape, there were dead bodies strewn about the fields, and broken glass was everywhere. Domino remembered the trauma he suffered at that farm, but at Luvin Arms, he slowly started to trust humans again. He was the biggest resident at Luvin Arms, standing 6ft tall and weighing over 2,500lbs! He had a sweet friendship with Laxmi, the baby cow. Domino passed away peacefully in January 2023.
Each photograph comes with a small notecard with the individual’s name and story.
